Biography of a Singing Angel

As an introvert, an empath, singing angel, a daughter, sister and great granddaughter to a family of teachers, preachers, musicians and artists, I am providing here creative but ancient solutions I have found to work for general spiritual and emotional health, and chronic insomnia and anxiety.  Much of what I have to offer probably is applicable to other chronic dis-eases.  However I am not a scientist, but simply an angel with a healing voice that discovered breathwork, my harp, and singing with deep expressiveness and open heart, that keeps away illness and disease. My strong immune system is also probably from American Indian DNA I am sure I have.

Ever since I sang a beautiful solo “ Waft her Angels to the skies” in a small town church in Michigan for my father’s god son’s baptism, people have always called me a ‘singing angel’!  So I find that when I am with people I want to be more positive, make them laugh! Sometimes I see the joyfulness in things, sometimes the irony.  I am always making quips about ironies of life, or some funny way words convey meaning or sound.  I also take delight in how wonderful it is to walk, to exercise, or just to be with nature.

When I taught children music I used puppets to make them laugh, to make learning fun, and to break the ice!  When I taught singing I emphasized how to be expressive and enjoy one’s gift — how to open up the many possibilities of expression, the opening up of one’s heart to the full expression of humanity using your powerful voice and breath.

When I was growing up I was blessed with a high vibe that I received from my Mom, and joyful laughter from my Dad.  My mother was an artist and a poet with an artistic temperament. She was a singer, loved exercise, a swimmer, dog and bird lover, and finally a deacon serving people in the church.  She also was an empath who understood people that were exceptional displaying high ideals and intelligence. Her high emotions and expressiveness was contagious!  And I am so grateful to have had her and my dad’s gift of joyful laughter that is truly medicine.
