A Singing Angel’s Journey

CHAPTER THREE
Pay Attention and WHAT TO DO Being an empath is hard sometimes if you don’t own it. Here are some ways to own it.
I am writing this for all the empaths, or for people to be aware of empaths, or introverts that may need encouragement to engage more.
Look around you for opportunities to assist others - It could be opening a door, assisting with groceries, helping out with a crying child or baby,
When Driving your car be polite to people. Hold off on honking the horn just because someone is slow. You don’t know them and what’s they might be going through or doing.
If there is someone crying next to you ask them if there’s anything you could do. Give them a HUG! Open up connections and your heart.
Another aspect of being observant is really paying attention to the community around you, the groups you are in and how people’s behaviors are. IF there are any changes in behaviors be alert and see if any comfort or help is needed, or prayer.
Talk to the people that are quiet - try to see if there is a way to draw them into a circle in case they need encouragement. They could be lonely introverts! Or having a rough day. This is crucial in including everyone in a circle so that the loud ones aren’t always getting attention. Especially in school classrooms.
Take the time to be really WITH someone, to be an active listener, a loved one, someone lonely, a friend, a stranger, even an enemy.
Don’t be afraid to cry out your frustrations to someone you trust. It will be a release.
